Black Belt Oath

I, on becoming a Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-Do, solemnly swear to the following Oath: to obey the Master and Instructor; to obey the rule of Tae-Kwon-Do; to set a good example and be of good moral character, that lesser belts may follow; to continue to train diligently and vigorously in the art of Tae-Kwon-Do; and to strive for excellence. To keep the honor of Black Belt above all with modesty.
